[on her parents, whom she adopted when she was 3 and had cared for her right from the birth of her daughter] Since there's a lot in between us, I began to be more intrigued by what their childhood was like. More than any other kid in my generation, I imagined the things it must have been as a child during the 1930s and the 1950s. Personal life. Olsen revealed her gay identity on the 16th of April in 2021. Olsen declared in 2022 Adele Thibodeaux, her partner of 5 years, was leaving her relationship, and she'd been in a relationship with musician and long-time acquaintance Meg Duffy since 2020. Olsen revealed that she is gay in the year 2021. The singer also shared the new romance via social media. Olsen was born and was born in St. Louis Missouri, started performing in local coffee shops as a teenager. Soon after, she branched out, and partnered with a number of artists. She moved from Missouri to Chicago in 2006 eventually working alongside California singer-songwriter Emmett Kelly as part of his group called the Cairo Gang. All Mirrors, her previous album released in 2019, was a mix of dark gothic-synth rock and moving forays in orchestral pop. In Big Time the first album that Olsen sings with a conscious focus on sexual desire, she reverts into a genre with a strong tradition called country. This makes sense.
